At long last, the end to SDL's first ever Top Model Competition has come to an end. We thank you all for taking part in the tournament and hope you all enjoyed the run as much as we did.
Now cutting to the chase, I'd like to announce the Third and Second Placers an then finally, the winner, and first ever Top Model of the SDL.
=thejohnsondesign did a magnificent job on pose and coloring, though unfortunately you do not see much super-stardom in this picture. Though we know that Chicane is not a person to be a star, or bask in fame, it would have helped to have at least maybe some fans, or admirers watching him, instead of having him stand in a lonely landscape. The image didn't connect to the theme as much as we felt he could have portrayed, given how much we've seen from the previous rounds.
*AshleyLange always surprises us with unique ideas. Well executed and creative, we think she deserves second place. Ashley keeps a fresh aspect of surprise with her unusual way of thinking, but we feel like it could have been better integrated into the competition seeing as this is the final round of the competition.
And finally, our winner and SDL's First Top Model and the winner of our Competition, =Marcks's Kusanagi.
By unanimous vote, we believe Marcks hits the nail on the head with his entry. The details of the topics on the magaizine further emphasize his position in the society, he's a famous yakuza, whom many people look up to in both fear and awe, it doesn't get more fabulous than this! His entry is funny, sexy and elegant at the same time, and he just exudes 'Superstar' in his entry.
Congrats to every one! You all did an amazing job and we hope this competition has been as fun and beneficial to you as we hoped it would be.

The Final round has come to an end! Now we just wait for the judges to get abck to us with their decision, and we will award the winner: SDL's Next Top Model.

This round will begin with Three participants, but in the end, we will determine who's going to be SDL'S Next Top Model.
For your last challenge, the theme we give you is "SUPERSTAR". You've all made it up to this point in the competition, and that alone is something to be proud of, but for your grand finale, we want to see just that: Your Epic Victory and breakthrough into Super stardom!
There will be no other specifics for this round, but just keep in mind this is the culmination of all you've been struggling to achieve these past months. We want to see you work your asses of for this!
Starting date is February 20, 2009 and closing date is on March 25, 2009. All entries must be submitted before March 25; 11:59 Pacific Standard Time.

There will be no other requirements this round, so we expect to see you come up with your own unique and individual entries this round.
Starting date is January 19, 2009 and closing date is on Febuary 16, 2009. All entries must be submitted before Febuary 16; 11:59 Pacific Standard Time.

The theme for this round is "Royal Court". As promised, the limitations and requirements for this round will not be as strict as the previous. You will be required to follow these guidelines:
*You may dress as any member of the Royal Court. *The Entry must be captioned as such: "(Name), (Position) of (Whatever)." For example, "Yayoi, Duchess of Fashion.". These captions need not be too serious, or too lulzy. The choice is up to you. *Try to emphasize 'Royal'.
Starting date is December 9, 2008 and closing date is on January 11, 2009. All entries must be submitted before January 11, 2009; 11:59 Pacific Standard Time.
